As 2025 comes to an end, our CEO Conrad mielcuszny reflects back on a significant year for genesis biosciences.

This year has been one of the most significant in the evolution of Genesis Biosciences. As I reflect on the past twelve months, what stands out is not only what we accomplished, but how these achievements reflect the values and vision that drive us forward.

Our partnership with Unilever to develop the Cif Infinite Clean All-in-One Cleaner Spray represents a milestone in the global acceptance of probiotic cleaning technologies and it signals the beginning of a future where sustainable biotechnology becomes the norm, not the exception. It demonstrates what is possible when shared purpose, scientific excellence, and bold ambition come together.

This year, we continued to strengthen our genomic and analytical capabilities, investing in advanced sequencing technologies, strain characterisation tools, and enhanced microbiology workflows that deepen our understanding of Bacillus performance at the molecular level. These expanded capabilities enabled us to design and validate more targeted microbial solutions, culminating in the development of our advanced Evogen Microbial Powders, a unique portfolio of high-performance microbial powder concentrates.

We invested meaningfully in our people by expanding both our technical and commercial teams. Their expertise strengthens every aspect of our business, from fermentation science and product development to customer engagement and global support. These new colleagues bring energy, innovation, and the passion needed to accelerate our mission.

We are equally proud to see Genesis Biosciences recognised across the STEM community for our leadership in biotechnology and microbial innovation and were proudly shortlisted for four prestigious honours this year: STEM Company of the Year (under 50 employees) and the Innovation in STEM Award at the Wales STEM Awards, as well as Medical, Pharma and Healthcare Manufacturer of the Year and Sustainability Initiative of the Year at the Insider Wales “Made in Wales” Awards. These acknowledgements affirm our belief that purposeful science has the power to create healthier industries and a healthier planet.

Our achievements this year were not measured by innovation alone. They were also reflected in the meaningful contributions we continue to make within our communities. From supporting young people across Wales, to sponsoring events with the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, to surpassing our food-bank donation goals for the Lawrenceville Co-Op in the US our teams have demonstrated what it means to lead with compassion as well as expertise.

As we look ahead to 2026, I do so with confidence in the direction we are taking. We continue to build an organisation that leads its field and contributes meaningfully to its development. With our growing capabilities, strong partnerships, and dedicated team, Genesis Biosciences is well positioned for continued progress in the year ahead.

Thank you to our employees, customers, and partners for your ongoing support and collaboration. I look forward to what we will achieve together in 2026. Wishing you all a good holiday season and a Happy New Year.
