US Employee of the Quarter
Shannon Simpson
Congratulations to Shannon Simpson, our US Employee of the Quarter for Q2 2026.
Shannon has consistently demonstrated an exceptional work ethic, a willingness to take on new challenges, and an ability to adapt wherever support is needed. Her versatility has made her an invaluable member of the Quality Control team, regularly assisting within the Microbiology Laboratory while continuing to excel in her own role.
During a particularly demanding period for the laboratory, Shannon stepped up to provide critical support following changes within the microbiology team. By helping to maintain essential microbiological testing for industrial production and fermentation, she ensured that operations continued smoothly and efficiently.
Alongside this, Shannon has played an important role in training newer laboratory team members, sharing her knowledge while maintaining her own workload. She has also helped improve laboratory efficiency by introducing earlier microbiology testing, reducing turnaround times and supporting increased production capacity.
Her professionalism, organisation and positive attitude have helped keep both Quality Control and Microbiology workloads on track, enabling the team to meet priorities and tight deadlines with confidence. Always willing to lend a hand, Shannon embodies teamwork and reliability, making her a truly deserving recipient of this award.

Congratulations to Elisabetta (Ellie) Foti, our UK Employee of the Quarter for Q2 2026.
Since joining the Customer Services team, Ellie has embraced every aspect of her role with enthusiasm, dedication and an impressive eagerness to learn. In a short space of time, she has developed an excellent understanding of our systems, products and customers, quickly becoming a trusted and valued member of the team.
Ellie has also made a significant impact by strengthening relationships with our Italian customers and manufacturing partners. By using her native language to support technical discussions and production projects, she has enhanced communication, built stronger partnerships and delivered added value to both our customers and the business.
Her commitment to excellence, attention to detail and proactive approach have seen her become an integral link between Customer Services, the laboratory and the sales team, helping to ensure samples and customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
