At Genesis, our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re proud to recognise those who continuously raise the bar through our Employee of the Quarter programme.

Every quarter, colleagues put forward teammates who demonstrate exceptional commitment, creativity, and teamwork. These nominees are individuals who consistently go above and beyond, champion others, and embody the values that define us.

From these submissions, our leadership team selects two standout winners—one from the UK/Europe and one from the US—spotlighting the remarkable contributions that help drive Genesis forward.

US Employee of the Quarter

Damion Ottman

Damion has shown outstanding initiative and growth within the fermentation department. Throughout multiple process deviations in Q4 2025, he played a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and maintaining output. He led the successful shift to running NFA‑produced material through the OFA centrifuge, processing runs that might otherwise have been lost. His skill in performing additional inoculations of the fermenters through sample ports has helped revive slow‑growing batches and prevent unnecessary losses, directly improving overall yield and efficiency.

Damion consistently demonstrates strong problem‑solving, quick decision‑making, and clear communication, attributes that have saved numerous fermentation runs. As a night‑shift supervisor, he has built a capable and confident team through effective training and support. His commitment to quality, willingness to cover shifts when needed, and proactive leadership continue to strengthen both the department and the organisation.

UK Employee of the Quarter

Hannah Evans

Hannah has quickly established herself as a highly capable QC Technician, becoming a confident and reliable member of the Quality team in a short time. She communicates effectively across Quality, laboratory, commercial, and R&D functions, ensuring timely product release and supporting sample preparation and stability testing. Despite the often independent nature of QC work, she collaborates seamlessly with others and contributes to smooth daily operations.

Hannah’s adaptability and willingness to learn new processes have strengthened QC activities and improved workflow efficiency. She is proactive in identifying and resolving issues and works closely with internal teams and external manufacturing partners to maintain high standards. Representing Genesis with professionalism and integrity, she consistently aligns with the company’s values. Her attention to detail, dependable work ethic, and supportive, team‑focused approach make her a deserving Employee of the Quarter who positively influences both colleagues and operations.
